I recently began contributing to a science communication newsletter Grads Gone Rogue (GGR). You can find my first article covering Scopes “Monkey” Trial Centennial Symposium held at Vanderbilt University here. I provide an overview of the The State of Tennessee v. John Thomas Scopes, more famously known as the Scopes “Monkey” Trial, and describe how it remains relevant to the current political and socal landscape, particularly in regards to science. Going forward, I plan to write articles covering evolutionary biology and its many common misconceptions (even among scientists). While you’re over at GGR, be sure to check out the other articles!

After 4 wonderful and productive years with Dr. Premal Shah at Rutgers University, I’m now a postdoctoral scholar working with Dr. Antonis Rokas at Vanderbilt University.
